October 30th
We left Vegas yesterday, a day early cause we were there long enough!  Since Benson was more than 500 miles, we decided to go about half way and ended up in Williams,AZ for 2 nights.  When we left Vegas I was in shorts and short sleeves.  When we got here it was 39 degrees so the first thing I did was change clothes.  We went to the Grand Canyon today, even though we had been there before.  We did the North Rim last year and I like the South Rim much more.  We went to the IMAX theater and saw the movie first and I highly recommend it.  I won't bore you with the 50 pictures I took of the canyon, just putting one in here.  I am including pictures of this cute little RV park.  The red wire spool is suppose to be used as a picnic table.  The train cars they have made into rooms for rent.  The green one has 3 rooms inside, each with it's own bathroom.  Pretty interesting little place.  Will post more from Benson.

As you can see from these pictures the place we are staying has very close quarters. But everyone here is very quiet and it doesn't seem to be a problem.  I have learned that we can not stay in Vegas for two weeks at a time again. Joe is very bored. We have ridden the Harley  down so many times that we have seen all there is to see around here and since he doesn't like gambling there isn't much for him  to do.  We will leave Friday and go to Benson, AZ and unless something exciting happens here I will not post anything else till we get there.

We made it from Springfield to Reno the first night out.  We got a late start so didn't get there till
1:00 a.m.  We were going to stay at a truck stop called Sierra Sid's but when we got there it was
a sea of trucks with not a spot to be found.  So we went to the Pilot truck stop and the only spot
left was one Joe had to parralle park in.  When you are 66 feet long, that is not an easy task, but
he did it with ease.  Got on the road again and arrived in Vegas during rush hour traffic, oh joy!!
But once again he got us to our destination with no propblems.  We are at Arizona Charlie's RV
park on Boulder Hwy.  The first night we went next door to the casino and I was very disappointed
with it.  The selection of slot machines was terrible and it was so smoky I couldn't stay in there
for long.  So I tried Boulder Station casino and have been going there since.

So you may be wondering about the name of this blog - Rondo's Rollin.  A while back I was
talking to my Edward Jones representative and telling about our rolling "condo" and she suggested
we call it a Rondo - which we have been doing since.  My best friend, Dyan, has a couple blogs
and she and her husband, Tim, came down before we left and helped me create this since I am so
computer illeterate.  Sometimes I need my grandson, Kaleb, to help me with the most simple things
so I am learning as I go. Be patient please.  We used so much data that I had to wait till our month was over so I could start this.  So anyway, we will  be here until Oct. 30th when we go to Benson, AZ for 2 weeks.  Here are a couple pictures of the park we are staying at.  It is a good one and we will definately come back.
